چکیده
This research focused on the study of heat and mass transfers in a two-phase stratified turbulent fluid flow geothermal pipe with chemical reaction. The derived non-linear partial differential equations governing were solved using Finite Difference Method. effects various physical parameters concentration, skin friction, heat, have been determined. Analysis results obtained indicated that coefficient friction decreased an increase Reynolds number solutal Grasholf number, rate transfer increased Eckert Prandtl angle inclination, Chemical reaction parameter inclination. findings would be useful to engineers designing maintaining pipelines more effectively.

Stability analysis of stratified two-phase liquid-gas flow in a horizontal pipe
This study aimed at linear stability analysis of the stratified two-phase liquid-gas flow in a horizontal pipe. First, equations governing the linear stability of flow in each phase and boundary conditions were obtained. The governing equations were eigenvalue Orr Sommerfeld equations which are difficult and stiff problems to solve. After obtaining the velocity profiles of the gas and liquid ph...
متن کاملTurbulent Events and Gas-Side Mass Transfer Coefficients in a Wavy Air-Water Stratified Flow
Turbulence structure on the gas side of a wavy stratified flow was experimentally investigated in a near horizontal 18.7 cm (H) 10 cm (W) 5.5m (L) rectangular duct.By applying the Variable Interval Time Averaging (VITA) technique to the hot wire anemometer measurements frequency of occurrence of turbulent events were detected near the air-water interface. Experimental results showed that fr...
متن کاملGas Absorption with Chemical Reaction in Turbulent Flow
In order to increase the rate of gas absorption, chemical reaction in the liquid phase is considered. The purpose of this paper was to simulate gas absorption process by a liquid film over a spherical packing incorporating eddy viscosity and diffusivity. Second order chemical reaction for two different cases (fast and slow) were considered. The system partial differential equations obtained...
متن کاملPossessions of viscous dissipation on radiative MHD heat and mass transfer flow of a micropolar fluid over a porous stretching sheet with chemical reaction
This article presents the heat and mass transfer characteristics of unsteady MHD flow of a viscous, incompressible and electrically conducting micropolar fluid in the presence of viscous dissipation and radiation over a porous stretching sheet with chemical reaction. The governing partial differential equations (PDEs) are reduced to ordinary differential equations (ODEs) by applying suitable si...
متن کاملTwo-phase Boundary Layer Flow, Heat and Mass Transfer of a Dusty Liquid past a Stretching Sheet with Thermal Radiation
The problem of two-phase MHD boundary layer flow, heat and mass transfer over a stretching sheet with fluid-particle suspension and thermal radiation has been studied. The effect of mass transfer in dusty fluid over a stretching sheet is considered for the first time. The governing equations are reduced to a set of non-linear ordinary differential equations under suitable similarity transforma...
